Could we use "INSPIRE Metadata for Dummies, the French guidelines for metadata are in English" as a basis for good practices?

Description

Dear colleagues,

We have talked, during the 3rd physical meeting in Aalborg, to create a "Good/best practices (BPs) for creating the MD" (in the part "Proposed terms of reference MIG sub-group for update of the Metadata TGs").

It is always easier to start from an existing text. Though I do not know if many countries did the job (Italy excepted), I am sure that it exists valuable national guidelines.

So we would like to suggest to use the French guidelines as a first basis, to upgrade. These guidelines were updated after two years of practice and feedbacks from regional SDIs. They are now in English.

You can find them here : http://inspire-forum.jrc.ec.europa.eu/pg/blog/read/244973/inspire-metadata-for-dummies-the-french-guidelines-for-metadata-are-in-english, or attached to this post.

Kind regards

Hello Daniela,

Kind regards
