Subject: Harvesting of PT SNIG catalog

Dear Angelo,
we detect some some inconsistencies in the INSPIRE Geoportal, e.g., duplicated metadata or metadata not reported.

I updated the catalog filter, because some PT entities had made major changes in metadata recently.

When possible, could run the harvesting again?

Thank a lot.
Best regards.

Dear Henrique,

It is now required to handle all INSPIRE Geoportal related issues via the collaboration environment on https://ies-svn.jrc.ec.europa.eu/projects/geoportal/issues

I have logged a new issue for you but in the future you will need to create a new issue on the system by yourself:

https://ies-svn.jrc.ec.europa.eu/issues/2693

I also kindly ask you to update the issue https://ies-svn.jrc.ec.europa.eu/issues/2338

There it is says that the very long filter was supposed to be a temporary workaround and that the performance of the Discovery Service would be improved.

That was 8 months ago but I see no improvement.

Best regards,

Angelo

The harvesting with the default timeout of 10s is a complete failure:

http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/resources/errors/INSPIRE-d60bf7f3-ea96-11e4-a2c7-52540004b857_20160216-164521/services/1/PullResults/

I increased the timeout to 100s and it completed successfully.

The maximum Initial response (seconds)    was 24.079s

Thanks a lot. As I said we have the agreement of PT entities to put the predefined keyword till the end of this year.

I'm sure that will improve the service time response.

That's great, thanks!

I have just added to the resource browser (http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/proxybrowser/) a new tag cloud for fileIdentifiers which might be of help for finding duplicates.

Please tell me if I can assist you any further.
