Description

Dear Angelo,

I am now checking the Area Management/Restriction/Regulation Zones.

From a first look everything seems correct but still i get the message in the report about:
-DOWNLOAD_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE
-ALL_LAYERS_MATCHING_DATA_HAVE_COMPLETE_METADATA
-LAYER_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE
-ALL_DOWNLOADS_MATCHING_DATA_HAVE_COMPLETE_METADATA
-RESOURCE_PREVIEW_IMAGE_IS_AVAILABLE
-INSPIRE_SPATIAL_OBJECT_IS_AVAILABLE

The URL of the report is

http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/proxybrowser/#fq=memberStateCountryCode%3Acy&fq=missingInteroperabilityAspect%3ALAYER_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE&q=*%3A*

Since this is an Annex 3 Data theme, we have implemented the xml approach, so I have verified that the correct identifiers exist in service and dataset atom files.

Secondary, i verified that through our Geoportal Server (where we create our metadata), the correct links exist between metadata of Download Service and metadata of Data.

Regadring the DOWNLOAD_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE, what we need to identify, is the Unique Resource Identifier located within the Metadata of Download Service (WFS) that references the metadata of data for the datasets contained in the corresponding WFS?

Could you advice please on the above?

Dear Antonis,

the LAYER_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE aspect means that, for a dataset, the INSPIRE Geoportal could not find a View Service Layer holding the correct reference to the dataset.

For example:

CY

(dataset) ANNEX 2 | Orthoimagery - Department of Lands and Surveys (Metadata of Data) (Department of Lands and Surveys)

Inspire MetadataOriginal metadataValidation report

Data originated from the Department of Lands and Surveys concerning digital files of coloured orthoimagery, from aerial photos captured in 2014. This product is not true ortho (maybe some variations exist concerning building footprints, base, of mainly high buildings).

WIth a text search the Resource Browser show me this:

However, if I open the WMS capabilities at:

http://weba.dls.moi.gov.cy/arcgis/rest/services/INSPIRE/OI_Orthoimagery/MapServer/exts/InspireView/service?VERSION=1.3.0&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=getCapabilities

<Layer queryable="1">
<Name>OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos</Name>
<Title>OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos</Title>
Layer OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos
...
<Identifier authority="dls">{07717B6B-BA26-4154-ACD1-4424CF1E4931}</Identifier>
<MetadataURL type="ISO19115">
<Format>text/xml</Format>
</MetadataURL>

If I try to open:

http://weba.dls.moi.gov.cy/geoportal_inspire/rest/document?id={37170487-6513-4014-B12C-B0B7461643FC}

The harvesting report tells you that there is a problem with the layer metadata URL (even though it is a different problem that prevented the INSPIRE Geoprotal from even tes):

http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/resources/INSPIRE-db3ec3d9-7bfb-11e6-b44d-52540023a883_20180530-175736/services/1/PullResults/1-20/services/20/resourceLocator1/view/services/1/layers/0/resourceReport/

You will need to do two things:

1) determine the correct URL returning the dataset metadata

- http://weba.dls.moi.gov.cy/geoportal_inspire/rest/document?id={37170487-6513-4014-B12C-B0B7461643FC}

- URL encode the parameter value, e.g. http://weba.dls.moi.gov.cy/geoportal_inspire/rest/document?id=%7B37170487-6513-4014-B12C-B0B7461643FC%7D

I will inspect the aspect  DOWNLOAD_MATCHING_DATA_IS_AVAILABLE after lunch.

Best regards,
Angelo

The problem with the Download Service , is that the resource locator in the service metadata is not correct:

Dear Angelo,

Regarding your comment on OI

"http://weba.dls.moi.gov.cy/arcgis/rest/services/INSPIRE/OI_Orthoimagery/MapServer/exts/InspireView/service?VERSION=1.3.0&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=getCapabilities

<Layer queryable="1">
<Name>OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos</Name>
<Title>OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos</Title>
Layer OI.OrthoimageCoverage_Orthophotos
...
<Identifier authority="dls">{07717B6B-BA26-4154-ACD1-4424CF1E4931}</Identifier>
<MetadataURL type="ISO19115">
<Format>text/xml</Format>

"

We have fixed the url to http://eservices.dls.moi.gov.cy/geoportal_inspire/rest/document?id=%7B37170487-6513-4014-B12C-B0B7461643FC%7D

Could you validate and verify please?

Regarding the parameter values in the metadata URLS, the { and } are automaticaly created through our ESRI Geoportal Server. If we replace { with %7B and } with %7D then this will pass the validation?

Thanks,

Antonis

Dear Antonis,

The curly braces, if left unencoded in URLs, affect interoperability because they are unsafe characters and may break some clients.

Before encoding the URL, that the URL points to the metadata of the correct dataset.

Plese use the INSPIRE Geoportal Validator 2 ( http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/validator2/ ) to make sure the issue is solved.

Best regards,

Angelo

#6 Updated by Antonis Papantoniou about 2 years ago

Dear Angelo,

We have made all the changes we beleived that would improve the interoperability of our services.

We have used the validator2 to validate the Area Management View Service Metadata. The url used for validation for Area Management is:

http://eservices.dls.moi.gov.cy/geoportal_inspire/rest/document?id=%7B675A378B-1158-435B-BF3A-591015EDEF4E%7D

The url of the report is:

http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/resources/sandbox/INSPIRE-65ffc1fa-68cb-11e8-aa6e-52540023a883_20180605-161903/

Something that confuses us is the comment referring to the Resource Identifiers. We have verified that the urls and Identifiers are the same in both the metadata of the View service and the ArcGIS INSPIRE View service.

{ is %7B

} is %7D

We have replaced { and } with %7B and %7D in both the metadata and in the ArcGIS INSPIRE advence properties but still get the above.

Could you advice please if possible.

Thanks,

Antonis

Dear Antonis,

you only need to encode the curly braces in URLs only.

You do not need to replace them in other places, like here

-<Identifier authority="dls">

%7B79529416-F90E-4AEF-9429-4962FFBE8E9D%7D

</Identifier>

you musty leave it as:

Identifier authority="dls">

{79529416-F90E-4AEF-9429-4962FFBE8E9D}

</Identifier>

Best regards,
Angelo

We have deployed all  the changes regardign curly bracets, that is, we encoded them in all URLS but left them in other places such as identifier values.

Could you advice on View Metadata and View Service Reports please? We have made the relevant changes in identifiers as well but it seems we cannot locate what the remaining issues are.

Thanks

Dear Antonis,

the only issue I see is the one about the mandatory Keyword for the Layers, that you already managed to fix for another theme ( see Issue #3303 ).

Best regards,

Angelo
