Dear Geoportal Helpdesk,

As mentioned in Roberts Mail from 2020/03/02 we would like to initiate a new push of our metadata records to the EU Geoportal. For this reason we kindly ask you to start a new harvesting of our catalogue instance and publish them for us in the Geoportal harvesting "sandbox", please.

During this week, the Geoportal is undergoing a series of planned maintenance activities.

If it is ok with you, I suggest to start the harvest on the next week.

Dear Daniele,

Please excuse, I didn't read the message about the planned "INSPIRE Geoportal translation engine update" (started on Monday 25th of May) by JRC INSPIRE Support team carefully enough.

[...] we need to start a new harvest for all the end-points. Once the harvest will be completed, you need to publish the harvest in order to see the translation on the INSPIRE Geoportal Viewer.

Could you tell me, if the harvesting for the german end-point was successful, because I don't have the possibility in the harvest console to publish anything.

Dear Anja,

Thank you for your message.

After the last changes done in your catalogue, we noticed a significant increase of data (~500Gb more) on our system. This created a disk space issue on the Geoportal systems.

For this reason, we are currently not able to start an harvest from your catalogue. We are now fine tuning our systems in order to be able to support this change.

We will let you know once the maintenance is completed, and we can launch an harvest of your endpoint.

We are sorry for the inconvenient.

Dear Anja,

We solved temporarily the problems related to the disk space. We should be ready to launch your harvest starting from tmorrow.

We will then let you know when the harvest will finish so that you can check in the sandbox environment.

Thanks for this update. I've checked the results, everything is correct and I clicked the "publish" button.

Just a note for you: currently we're planning a new harvesting process for July, 7th 2020 - maybe you can schedule this in your internal plans/activities.

Dear Daniele,

in a legal dispute one of our data providers lost their name "ITEOS" and from the 1st July 2020 they aren't allowed to use these anymore. Due various harvest process affected metadata records are still in the INSPIRE geoportal. Do you see any possibility or could you schedule a harvest cylce of our catalogue instance before the July, 7th 2020?

Dear Anja,

We can plan an harvest whenever is more convenient for you.

Consider that the harvest is usually taking at least 1 day. If you have to change the name by the 1st of July, it is better to run it in advace.

Just let us know when you want to start it.

Thanks again for the straightforward processing of our request. I checked the result and none of the affected metadata records are left in the INSPIRE geoportal.

But right now, I have some troubles to publish the update. Could you check please, what could be the reason behind this failure?

I've cheched the system now. It is actually publishing the harvest. Since it contains a big amount of data, it is taking longer.
