Preface

The minutes are based on the notes taken in the web-conference chat window by the scribe as well as comments made by participants in the chat.

Welcome and approval of the agenda

Michael Lutz welcomed the participants.

The agenda was approved as proposed.

Minutes of the previous meetings

  • There were no comments on the minutes from the previous meeting and they were approved as they currently stand on the wiki.
  • Open action items review. Reduced after last meeting. #2475 to be closed since it is part of Geonovum project on INSPIRE schema extensions.

MIWP actions status reports

  • Presentation on status available from last MIG-P meeting Status_MIWP_work_packages.pptx
  • MIWP-14 Facilitator for Biodiversity is still missing. Intention is to have someone from Environmental community (e.g. from EIONET). Proposals are welcome [Action all]
  • 2nd INSPIRE Extensions Expert Workshop was held on 29-30 June in JRC. Work is in progress. Interrim results can be seen on project wiki: http://inspire-extensions.wetransform.to/ Short description to be added on MIG-T wiki by Michel Grothe [Action] Presentation and Workshop with final results are planned on INSPIRE conference
  • Workshop on Metadata TG comment resolution will be held on 07-08 July in JRC

De-briefing MIG-P meeting in Brussels on 28-29 June

Information about the MIG-P meeting.

  • Agenda and background documents publicly available at https://ies-svn.jrc.ec.europa.eu/projects/mig-p/wiki/4th_MIG-P_meeting
  • Main topics of discussion on MIG-P meeting were MIWP and Rules of Procedure (RoP).
  • The proposed MIWP has been only provisionally endorsed.
    • The action on List of priority data sets was not agreed by all MS and has been taken out of the MIWP for the time being. But work on the list will be continued by JRC, DG ENV and EEA; contributions and feedback from willing MS is welcome.
      • NL would like to participate in the work on priority dataset list.
    • Further discussion with some changes and final endosrement is expected in December at the next MIG-P meeting.
    • All proposed and existing actions to continue/start as planned. 
  • Draft minutes of MIG-P and the associated documents (MIWP + annexes) will be ready for distribution by 15 July
  • Deadline for comments on MIWP and for possible new actions is beginning of October
  • MIG-T and MIG-P representatives should closely collaborate

AOB

  • The format of future webinars to be slightly changed. Idea is to focus on one or two intersting issues in implementation/usage. Volunteers for next webinars are welcome [Action]. IT proposed to prepare webinar for October.
  • Next meeting 28 July or 25 August depending on the presence of MIG-T representatives. To be checked and announced in advance.
